It’s supposed to be hot over the next couple of days, so my plan is to head to the beach and dive into the cool, clear water. We’re also looking forward to seeing lots of friends this weekend.

I’m harvesting squash and pumpkins this weekend, before the squirrels take too many bites out of them. With more rain coming, I’ll be looking for dry spells to get garden work done.

We’re driving to New York on Saturday to attend a family member’s funeral. We’ll spend Sunday getting a little sleep and trying to save some candy for the trick-or-treaters.
