There’s still plenty of time for outdoor dining. I’ve seen some beautiful dishes designed for outdoor use. They will survive a tumble onto the lawn and you won’t be worrying about breakage when you should be having fun with your guests. I’ve pulled together a few sets of outdoor table settings to inspire you.
Williams Sonoma has some great outdoor dinnerware and table linens that will brighten your summer parties. Some of the items are on sale, so they may disappear before this post goes live. I hope that doesn’t happen, but at least these settings might give you some entertaining ideas.

Blue and White Floral
I love the classic cool colors of blue and white. I dressed this setting up with etched (nonbreakable) glassware.
Yellow and Green Fruit
These Meyer lemon linens and the green dishes make me think of dining outside a farmhouse in Tuscany.
Multicolored Sea
These plates would be perfect for dinner on the porch of a cottage near the beach.
