I am looking forward to a long weekend on Martha’s Vineyard. I hope to walk barefoot in the sand during the day and to gaze at the stars in the evening. The forecast is for rain, but I’m hoping anyway.

When I saw the Times article about hugs (first item in my list), I wondered how they missed our reunion with Louis in Brooklyn last weekend. I didn’t want to ever let go of him. Hugging his girlfriend, Julia, was wonderful too!
