I’m looking forward to a socially distanced, bring your own lunch meeting in a park with siblings this weekend. I’m also writing letters to encourage fellow citizens to vote.
I hope that you have a good weekend. Stay well.
In the last month, I’ve been reading a lot about new art installations in New York City and sharing those links with you (the stone arch in the park in this post and the new wall installed on top of the MET here). It’s not to torture you, should you crave a visit to the city as much as I do, but to celebrate the fact that so much art is being made. It’s being installed in the city for those who live there and need art desperately during these difficult times. I’m also sharing it so that we can dream of a time when we will be able to see it. We will get back to NYC one of these days and see (and hear) these magnificent pieces. One of the things getting us through this quarantine is our dreams. Am I right?
