Images from the Boston Flower and Garden show last month—all made with plant materials. A stunning dress to wear to a spring festival in a woodland setting.
For this assignment called Show Off, participants were asked to create hats for a garden party. This one’s a mass of red pom poms.
Leafy lavender.
A mossy green crown with a halo of twigs.
I think that one is worthy of attendance at an upcoming royal wedding. It may look like it is trimmed in feathers, but I assure you that it is plant matter (milkweed).
Gift boxes designed by members of a youth class. The project was called Spring Surprise. Up first, a Tiffany blue box and a classic flower arrangement. Notice how the ribbon around the box is braided. Sigh.
A simple black box with a brilliant gold interior and a bold bouquet. This was a stunner!
Pretty in pink and green, this box must hold something special.
Two more beautiful boxes in spring pastel colors.
