It’s a futuristic story about the decline of the female birthrate and a government that captures the few remaining girls to try and solve the problem. I wouldn’t say it is great literature, but I was happy to read a story with a strong female character.  I am curious to learn what happens next.
  • Speaking of futuristic reads, if you haven’t read The Handmaid’s Tale, I recommend it. I read this book years ago. It was so gripping, it still haunts me. I am thinking of reading it again. Margaret Atwood is a great writer.
  • Wondering what to make for dinner next week? Try my Thai Peanut Noodles recipe. Make a lot, so that you have leftovers. You’ll want them.
  • Goodness: This week Tom and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary. It’s been good. Real good.
