Walking around Patterson Park in Baltimore last weekend, we were dazzled by a rainbow of color from the brightly painted trim of homes surrounding the park. The neighborhood’s painted rooflines are worth the visit to the park (and the park is really nice too).
From one building to another, we were treated to the eye candy of colorful fascia, frieze board and cornice trim.
Windows and doors were in on the act.
This whimsical window abuts a utilitarian urban necessity.
The whole building was involved in this next beauty.
Row houses offered up a myriad of color combinations, with homeowners’ decorating preferences being displayed side by side.
Moving on to rooftops of a different sort…
A church on one side of the park provided this beautiful view.
A post about rooftops in Baltimore really should include this one.
