Fall on the Minuteman Bike Path, Arlington

We’re headed to Connecticut to visit my husband’s family this weekend. On Sunday I’m taking my mother-in-law to start her Christmas shopping. Yes, I just said that.

White Blouse with Bow and Bishop Sleeves

Mahsa White Blouse

If there’s one wardrobe item that needs regular updating, it’s a white blouse. I’m currently coveting this Bow Blouse and Mahsa’s other gorgeous blouses made of elegant raw cotton and silk.

This blouse has so much drama with a big bow at the throat and statement bishop sleeves. Moonrise Over State Beach, Martha's Vineyard

We’re headed back to the Vineyard tomorrow to prepare our house for New England’s fall and winter temperatures. Great weather is forecasted and I’m looking forward to a beautiful day for “the crossing.”

Marked by a profusion of lights, the festival signifies the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, knowledge over ignorance, and hope over despair. I think that we all hope for such victories … Read more

Sengekontacket Sunset

Happy weekend everyone! I hope that you have a great fall weekend.

We’re having a weekend full of good friends and good food. Tomorrow my friends Susan and Houda and I are taking our annual outing to Carlisle where we will indulge in a Kimball’s ice cream sundae, admire the fall foliage and visit local nurseries to check out plants. In the evening, we’re celebrating Diwali with friends. Groan – I anticipate weeks of extra exercise to burn off the results of my many indulgences.… Read more
