I’m posting early today, because I’m headed back to CT to attend my father-in-law’s funeral and related events. It is good to be with family during times like these.

My wonderful father-in-law passed away this week and we are mourning his passing and celebrating his life. Walt lived a full and extraordinary 94 years. He spent his life teaching science to kids, volunteering at his church, building things, gardening, square and round dancing and traveling. An entomologist, Walt also collected bugs—we had to be careful when we opened a stray container around his house.
