Happy weekend! We are headed to upstate New York and then to Connecticut to memorialize my husband’s uncle and visit family members.
I hope that you have a wonderful weekend.
- This is a beautiful summer tote. This one is really affordable. Here’s a neutral tote that might be good for farmers’ market shopping.
- I’m enjoying the essays and artwork in Full Bleed, a journal of art and design from the Maryland Institute College of Art. It includes powerful poetry, reviews of art shows, articles about and interviews with artists. This first issue is called The Migration Issue and immigration and refugee issues are the theme of many pieces in the publication. You can read it online or you can order a print copy, which is a very good looking publication. Some of the articles are only available on the web. (Full disclosure: my son worked on this publication.)
- If you are a Jane Austen fan (hand up and waving over here), check out Verily’s post Six Feeds Jane Austen Fans Need to Follow Right Now. They describe blogs and Austen-related events for people who can’t get enough Austen in their lives.
- This Chile and Yogurt Marinated Grilled Chicken looks delicious for a weekend BBQ.
