I’m looking forward to the weekend and a little bit of sun after the snow, cold and rain of this week. We’re headed to the symphony on Saturday night. It will be nice to be surrounded by music in Boston’s beautiful Symphony Hall.
Have a warm and cozy winter weekend.
- The most magnificent “Little Tree Library” filled with books for the community.
- NYT’s The Year in Pictures 2018 — This is quite a visual summary of last year.
- The Best Tights to keep our legs warm this winter.
- I may be the last person to learn how good Trader Joe’s Cauliflower Gnocchi is. Luckily, I read this post on Three Ways to Cook It. (Apparently you do not want to follow the directions on the bag.)
- Two sets of earrings that will make us think of spring: these and these.
- While we may be thinking of spring, it’s still winter. This cheese fondue will warm you on a cold winter evening. It’s delicious!
- I like the idea of wearing clothes and carrying accessories made from recycled plastic.

- Sharing an excerpt from Wild Geese by Mary Oliver, who lived in MA for years and passed away this month. You can find the rest of the beautiful poem here.
“Whoever you are, no matter how lonely,
the world offers itself to your imagination,
calls to you like the wild geese, harsh and exciting-
over and over announcing your place
in the family of things.”
