It’s going to be a very busy weekend. I’m hoping to get the house in tip top shape, so that I am ready to bring in a Christmas tree and prepare for the holidays.
Have a great weekend!
- I hope that you enjoy 2018 Vanity Fair Hall of Fame as much as I did. Every entry gives me hope.
For example, Judge Rosemarie Aquilina’s message to the women in the courtroom, “Leave your pain here and go out and do your magnificent things.” - I’ll be diving into Tana French’s new crime novel soon. If The Witch Elm is as good as French’s Dublin Murder Squad series, I am sure to like it. I couldn’t put them down. (Audible and Kindle versions of The Witch Elm)
- Pantone’s color of 2019 is Living Coral.
And just how did Pantone pick Living Coral as the 2019 ‘Color of the Year?’ - Speaking of color, did you catch my Colors of Diwali post? I think all of those colors should take turns being colors of the year.
- The attempt to save an endangered New England beetle — a labor of love.
- National Geographic’s 2018 Photo Contest Grand Prize winner is a very cool photograph.
There are so many other wonderful photographs in the submissions. - I like round handbags (my Circular Handbags post would give you a clue). This stunning bag recently appeared on my radar. Warning, they’re expensive.
- Goodness: Hundreds of Santas hit the ski slopes to benefit others.
About the photo: In an October It’s the weekend post, I featured a photo of Colony, created by Christopher Frost and installed near the Arlington bike path. Shortly after its installation, it became a public participation event. The little houses now have occupants and one dwelling proudly displays a small state flag.
