We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I am looking forward to a long weekend with yummy leftovers and visits with more family!
I hope that you are having a wonderful holiday weekend with family or friends.
This Thanksgiving I am thankful for so many things.
- This month’s California holiday with my husband and son. And while on that trip…
- Seeing my Aunt Bev for the first time in many decades.
- Seeing Zoe (my nephew’s wife) and meeting their twins, Cash and Mason.
- Spending time with my husband’s childhood and college friends.
- My sister-in-law, Tracy, and her husband, Bill, for feeding us a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner.
- Seeing lots of family this weekend!
- How Muslims supported the Jewish shooting victims in Pittsburgh.
- How October Books raised enough money to buy a new location for its store and the human chain that helped move every book to the new location.
- The National Coalition for the Homeless. For 30 years they have worked to help people find shelter and to meet the needs of those without homes.
- Stand Up for Kids. Their mission is to end the cycle of youth homelessness.
- Goodness: This viral video of refugee children experiencing snow for the first time. Such joy.
Also, the Canadian family housing them as part of the volunteer-based Ripple Refugee Project in Toronto.
