We’re celebrating Tom’s birthday this weekend and it’s a big one. We’re doing a light celebration, with more celebrating on the horizon.
Have a great weekend. Happy Easter to those who are celebrating.
Asparagus is on sale at our local farm stand and I’ve been cooking with it constantly. Just as I can’t get enough of daffodils right now, I’m keeping the refrigerator stocked with asparagus. Both are fleeting spring pleasures. There’s no moderation when it comes to these items, but nature keeps things under control by only providing easy access to both items during one season. That’s enough to leave us wanting more — in winter yearning for their spring arrival.
