We have nothing planned for this weekend and I don’t remember the last time we’ve had one free. I’m looking forward to relaxing and warm weather, with lots of time outdoors.
Have a great weekend. Happy Lunar New Year to those who are celebrating. It’s the Year of the Dragon!
We’re in the first sunny stretch that we’ve had in a very long time and what a difference that makes in my outlook! I had long walks every day, including a new walk along the Charles River in Waltham with my friend Dee Dee. It was cold, but the apricity (warmth from the sun) was welcome on our faces. In fact, we’ve had a lot of apricity this week.
Early one morning, I went outside and heard bird sounds that I associate with spring. I think the birds are fooled by the balmy weather and sunshine.
Birds and humans alike will get back to more seasonal behavior next week, when snow arrives and temperatures drop. Before that happens, I’ll enjoy every minute of this week’s weather break.
Here’s what I have to share this weekend.

I know what you mean about the weekend! Listening to birds chattering outside right now, it does suggest spring will arrive.
Enjoy the day! We’re headed to Parker River Refuge, where we will surely be joined by lots of other people who are anxious for some fresh air.
