We’re headed to New Hampshire this weekend to visit family. The foliage display will probably be over, but we’ll keep our eyes open for lingering color.
Welcome to November. Have a great weekend!
The last month has been tough. It feels like there is so much violence everywhere. So many people have lost loved ones and live in constant fear. I worry about our children’s future all of the time. What kind of a world are we leaving them? Like so many people, I need to turn off the thoughts, so that I can get out of bed in the morning and go to work. I realize that I am lucky to be able to turn off the thoughts and get on with things.
This week, I watched a video of glasses being put on vision-impaired babies, who could then see for the first time. It was the most joyful thing I have seen in a while and it reminded me to keep on hoping and believing in our fundamental humanity.
I’m sending all of you my very best wishes during these difficult times.
