We’re on Martha’s Vineyard for a long weekend, so that we can secure everything, in case hurricane Lee brings big winds. If the sun comes out, we’ll be working on improving our exterior house painting skills.
I hope that you have a safe weekend.
I’ve been focused on work (a short contract) and set aside most personal projects while I learn the ins and outs of the job. While I’ve been very busy, I’ve been trying to make time for short walks at lunchtime. It feels good to get outside and stretch my limbs after sitting in a chair for hours! There’s been a lot of raindrop dodging, but that’s okay. It’s still warm enough that a little rain does no harm.
Speaking of getting outside, have you been enjoying the remains of summer? I’m living some of it vicariously through Frances Sprout’s recent post, which includes spectacular photos of magnolia blossoms and adorable giraffe art. (Materfamilias Writes)
Here’s what else I have to share this weekend.
