It looks like more rain this weekend, but we’ll try and take advantage of any dry moments to get outside.
Enjoy this first weekend of summer!
We’ve celebrated my mother-in-law’s 98th birthday this week. She’s on the island and busy visiting old friends, seeing the sights, and sitting in the sun any chance she gets.
It’s been on the cool side over the last week and we’ve had our share of rain. Given how much we need rain, all of our visitors have approached the weather with positive attitudes, and we’ve been rewarded with green lawns and enough dry weather to get in walks on the beach.
We’ve indulged in seafood, salads, pasta, cake, and ice cream. And there’s more to come. Perhaps I need to double my walks?
Here’s what I have to share this weekend.
