We’re headed to Martha’s Vineyard for the long weekend and looking forward to whatever the weather brings. Let the grilling begin!
Have a wonderful long weekend!
Memorial Day weekend marks the unofficial start to summer and I’m ready for it! June is such a great transition month, offering a balance of cool days for getting outdoor work done and warm days that hint at lazy beach days ahead.
I’m currently loving the long days and all of the green growing up around us. Here in New England, it’s a good week to plant vegetables and unpack our shorts.
Here’s what I have to share this weekend.
- A Very Low-Key Summer Checklist — My summer checklist includes things I didn’t do last summer. I already have too many books to read this summer. (Cup of Jo)
- 17 Best Beach Towns in the U.S. With Laid-back Vibes and Stunning Coastal Views — Are you thinking of a coastal vacation? I’d like to be packing for one of these destinations. (Travel and Leisure)
- Here are some drink ideas for the holiday weekend.
- Easy Strawberry Lemonade or Picnic Pink Lemonade — Both of these drinks sound so refreshing! (Smitten Kitchen)
- Campari Spritz or Negroni Cocktails — The spritz is the lighter version. Both drinks feature Campari’s signature bitter, herbal flavor. (Sea Salt and Sailor Stripes)
- Salmon Salad with Peas and Dill — Here’s a light and delicious salad for lunch or dinner. (Sea Salt and Sailor Stripes)
- Goodness: Researchers dumped tons of coffee waste into a forest. This is what it looks like now. — I’m glad that all of my coffee grounds go into our compost! (Upworthy)
