We’re headed to Vermont for a long weekend. We are hoping that the peonies are in bloom at Hildene estate in Manchester, but we might be a little too early. We’ll explore the area, as well as visit some old friends and see their new home.
Have a great weekend!
This time of year is glorious! As I walk through my neighborhood, I can smell the lilacs before I see them. I just love that scent. White viburnum flowers march down the shrub stems, the loveliest orderly flowers. Dandelions pop in lawns and feed the bees. Baby bunnies hungrily munch on everything in the yard. The rabbits, growing in numbers in my area, have done major damage to my perennials and I am not a fan, but the babies are still cute.
The peonies have small buds. They’re just a promise of things to come. More to look forward to.
Here’s what I have for you this weekend.
