I’m looking forward to a couple of lazy days this weekend, with breakfasts in the backyard, time at the beach and easy dinners.
I hope that you have a relaxing weekend too.
Post vacation, I have some very basic thoughts about my normal work week. The first Monday back from vacation is exhausting. Alarm clocks are unnatural. Morning exercises are rough. But, routine is good and it gets easier each day. I feel somewhat reset into the workweek rhythm.
Now, it’s the weekend and I can sleep in tomorrow!
While we were on vacation, Tom read a book on astronomy and learned that there is a double star in the handle of the Big Dipper. With my new binoculars that I received as a birthday gift, we were able to see it! I feel like a nature spy. One day I’m looking at Willets and Yellowlegs (shore birds). One night I’m seeking out double stars. I spy with my little eye and my big binoculars…
If you feel like reading this weekend, here’s what I have for you.
