I’m looking forward to cooking a nice dinner on Saturday for Tom’s late birthday celebration. I’ll be walking with my friend Zoe on Sunday and cannot wait to see her!
I hope that you have a good weekend with lots of outdoor time.
We had a wonderful visit with Louis and Julia last weekend. We dodged raindrops on a trip to the beaches and had varenyky (perogies) for lunch in Brighton Beach. The sun came out in the late afternoon and we had a quick stroll through Green-Wood cemetery. We had Negronis and lingered over a delicious dinner and dessert made by Louis and Julia. The trip was quick, but so satisfying.
Winter came back for a short visit this week and I had to go back into the closet for my winter coat, hat and mittens. It’s always risky putting these items away in March. However, I didn’t put away the snow shovels!
Here’s what I’m serving up this week.
