I’m looking forward to getting together with family to celebrate a belated birthday. The weather won’t be great this weekend, so I’m also planning to catch up on long-neglected projects at home.
Have a good weekend!
- How the Dearly Departed Usher Couples Down the Aisle — What lovely traditions. (The New York Times)
- My Beauty Uniform: Libby DeLana — I loved reading about DeLana’s walking habit. Forget about 10,000 steps – she’s walked over 25,000 miles in the last 10 years. (A Cup of Jo)
- If Stanley Tucci Were Your Boyfriend — Someone shared this recently and I had a good laugh. (The Toast)
- It’s soup weather! A couple of weeks ago, I made a huge batch of chicken soup and we ate it for dinner night after night. Here are some soup recipes to try.
- White Bean, Kale, And Sausage Soup (Joy the Baker)
- Cozy Cabbage and Farro Soup (Smitten Kitchen)
- 1-Pot Pumpkin Black Bean Soup (Minimalist Baker)
- Carrot, Ginger and Orange Soup (Sea Salt and Sailor Stripes)
- My last post was about reading. Do you have any favorite books to recommend? (Sea Salt and Sailor Stripes)
- Goodness: A confidence boost for women who lose their hair to cancer: A free wig and stylist — What wonderful work this organization is doing. (The Washington Post)
About the photo: The last of my fall lettuce grown in a pot on the deck. It made a delicious salad!
