I’m looking forward to three days off, hopefully with some sunny days. I’m thinking about corn on the cob and fresh tomatoes for dinner.
Enjoy the long weekend.
Isn’t summer flying by? While Labor Day weekend feels like the end of summer, I’m trying to remember that there are still a few more weeks of summer (and a few more summer weekends). That is worth being excited about.

About the photo: Peach pies made for a late birthday celebration. They were the best pies — tender, flakey crusts filled with juicy peaches. Thank you Julia!
