I’m hoping to do some gardening this weekend. I want to replant lettuce and maybe some other cold-loving vegetables, but it may be a bit stormy around here. Perhaps I can tackle garden work between showers.
Have a good weekend. Stay well.
We were a bit sluggish over our vacation (very different than our time in July when we were so active). This week, I’ve been walking in the mornings and it feels good to be moving again.
While on vacation, I made two savory galettes and they were delicious. I bought shiitake mushrooms and made a delicious mushroom and fennel version. I also made a sausage, pepper and onion galette. These will be perfect for fall. I’ll try to share the recipes soon.
I can’t believe that August is almost at an end. The mornings have been cool, a reminder that fall is not far off. Before we know it, it will be time for pumpkins and apples and warm cardigans.
