When September arrives, I make Bolognese sauce. It’s a classic and part of my repertoire of hearty fall and winter meals. If you’re looking for fall recipes, here are some suggestions.
While I’m still clinging to summer foods in September, with corn and peaches on my table as long as I can get them, I start to crave cool weather dishes. Bolognese is one of my favorite comfort foods for cool weather.
Now it’s October and my attention has turned to stews, soups, roasted winter squash, stuffed pumpkin, meatloaf, and apple crisp.
I’ve pulled together several recipes that look perfect for fall. Have fun choosing from each category for a multi-course dinner, or maybe one recipe is just what you want to eat this weekend.
