I picked this embroidered sheath dress from Talbots to wear for a recent celebratory dinner while visiting Baltimore.
This Talbots dress is from several seasons ago. I love the sheath silhouette and the detailed embroidery. I don’t think the dress shape will ever go out of style. With embroidery being popular right now, the dress feels both classic and on trend.
(My pale arms and legs are not on trend for blog photos, but they are very popular at the dermatology office. I used a little of my favorite Clarins Golden Glow Booster Drops. Normally I am even paler.)
Sheath dresses are a staple at Talbots and there are many options. This dress has a similar springtime feel. I love the indigo blue and cream embroidery of this dress.
I think that this Ann Taylor sheath dress is stunning. While a bit more casual, I also like this dress from Ann Taylor.
I anticipated typical hot Baltimore weather and I got it wrong. It was a cool evening. Luckily I brought a Talbots sweater in a color that perfectly matches the dark pink in the dress. I didn’t get a picture of me wearing the sweater. This photo isn’t great, but it does show how well the colors matched.
The Nine West sandals that I am wearing are an iridescent pearl, which is a little too creamy for my dress. I’ve been looking for a pair of shoes to wear with this dress and I haven’t found the right color and style combination. I think I need that dark pink (similar to this, but maybe a dressier shoe). If you are looking for something similar to my Nine West sandals, here is a nice option. I also like these and these Nine West sandals.
I’m also enjoying this Dusty Rose Pleated Skirt right now.
