Favorite Things, Peonies
Peonies, like so many of my favorite spring flowers, last for such a short amount of time. They open in glorious bursts of color and scent and in a day or two, they start dropping their petals. Tomorrow, we’re decamping to the Vineyard for the summer and I feel like a kid at the start of summer break! On summer evenings, I plan to look for fireflies at dusk and shooting stars in the dark.
