It’s the time of year to get outside work done and we’re headed to Martha’s Vineyard to clear brush and finish fall cleanup. We’ll close the house for the season and reminisce about what a great time we had this year!

We’re driving to New York on Saturday to attend a family member’s funeral. We’ll spend Sunday getting a little sleep and trying to save some candy for the trick-or-treaters.

This weekend we’re taking the Rocky Hill–Glastonbury car ferry over the Connecticut River to go apple picking with my mother-in-law. We are keeping our fingers crossed that the weather will cooperate.
