I’ve mentioned that it can be hard to write about the ordinary things when our world seems to be in chaos. This was another chaotic week, so I’m going to take a minute to focus on the extraordinary.

Last weekend, we were talking with friends about the popularity of Barack and Michelle Obama. They are heroes, because of all that they represent — hard work and belief in opportunities for all Americans.
