It’s supposed to be hot over the next couple of days, so my plan is to head to the beach and dive into the cool, clear water. We’re also looking forward to seeing lots of friends this weekend.
Stay cool this weekend!
We’ve been on a rollercoaster weather ride, with very cool temperatures over the last week (including crickets singing surprisingly early in the evenings) and we’ll be climbing back up to very hot days over the weekend (the cicadas are already buzzing about the change). New Englanders will surely be heading to the coast to cool off.
While on the mainland, I made a trip to my local bookstore (The Book Rack) and picked up a few used books on my to-be-read (TBR) list.
Books, books, and more books. I include so many book recommendations in my weekend posts, because I enjoy reading other people’s recommendations. I hope that you like them too, since I subject you to them regularly. This paragraph serves as an introduction to more book recommendations in the content I’m sharing this weekend.
