I’m looking forward to our late Valentine’s dinner out tonight and, on Sunday, we’re meeting Louis and Jorja halfway between MA and NYC for lunch. I can’t wait to see them!
Have a great weekend!
Snow storms, shoveling, and routine appointments have provided some distractions from the dire news lately. Not enough, but some. As so many people are saying, I’m trying to find the right balance between staying informed and staying sane. I have my list of things to do to cope, most described in this post last week: Whimsy and Beauty Amid Winter Doldrums.
Here’s what I have to share this weekend:
- We Are On the Road for Democracy and Justice — Bernie Sanders continues his fight for Americans. (The Guardian)
- Doing Nothing With Your Favorite People Is Really, Really Good for You — This reminds me of the hours I spent hanging out with my best friend as a kid. (Self)
- 15 Cozy Books to Curl Up With This Winter, from Classics to Newer Gems — If you’re in need of cozy reads, here are some suggestions. (Camille Styles)
- Tirokafteri (Greek Feta Dip) — This is a delicious dip that is so easy to make. (Sea Salt and Sailor Stripes)
- Goodness: Bellingham Nonprofit Offers Therapy on Wheels — A great idea that makes therapy more accessible. (KUOW/NPR)
