After being a bit of a slug over the holidays, I’m excited to get outside for brisk walks this cold weekend. My reward will be a cozy seat in front of a fire in the evenings.
Bundle up this weekend and enjoy the start of 2025!
We’ve gotten back out for our daily walks and I’m feeling the hills. One thing about getting older is that you get out of shape quite quickly. But, up those hills I go and they get easier each day.
Thank goodness for warm clothes to get through the cold days. I really appreciate the warmth of the sun on my face, even when the wind is blowing. Yesterday we dodged trash cans and recycling as the wind blew debris all over the neighborhoods we walked.
This weekend I’m taking one last look at the past year.
