Cold weather and snow storms are around for the weekend and I’m going to snuggle up in fleece and sip hot chocolate.
Have a warm and cozy weekend!
Yesterday morning brought snow, sleet, ice and gray skies. The snow-covered tree branches were beautiful. We’ve had an easy winter, so it’s best not to complain about yesterday’s snowy mess (in case nature decides to deliver storms on repeat until the end of March).
We shoveled. And shoveled. And shoveled. I was glad this didn’t happen when I was in bed with a Covid fever. I was also glad for a hot shower after all of the shoveling, to work out the soreness.
In cold weather like this, I’m grateful for warm soup, gooey macaroni and cheese, and citrus in every form, but especially the easy to peel varieties.
