It will be doubly nice to spend time with my sister this weekend, after confusing her arrival by a week. We’ll do all of the things that I imagined we’d do last weekend.
I hope that you have a great weekend.
I’m not sure how I did it, but I put my sister’s arrival a week ahead of time. We had her room ready to go and I cooked nonstop after work on Friday. When she hadn’t arrived when I expected her, I called her and learned that I had her arrival date a week early. Tom and I ate too much that night! Note to self — remember to double check dates.
We were ahead of the game in our preparations for having company this weekend, since we’d done the house cleaning ahead of time. There’s always a silver lining if you look for it.
