Our good friends Topi and Andy invited us to celebrate Diwali last weekend. They cooked an abundance of delicious food. The photos that I took with my phone don’t do justice to their beautiful cuisine, but this celebratory bounty is worth sharing.
Diwali is the five-day Festival of Lights and is one of the most significant festivals in the Indian culture. Marked by a profusion of lights, the festival signifies the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, knowledge over ignorance, and hope over despair.
